Mission and Vision
The Society encourages scholarly study of and general
interest in Thomas Wolfes work and career. Through its annual meeting
and its publications the Society gives scholars, critics, teachers, students
and common readers opportunities to share and gain knowledge about Wolfes
life and works. With the approval of the Board of Directors, the Society
may undertake special projects to promote its goals and purpose.
Any person, business, corporation
or educational institution interested in the Societys aims may join.
Members may attend the meetings, participate in the Societys activities
and run for office. They receive The Thomas Wolfe Review and
all publications issued by the Society. Joint memberships receive only
one copy of each issue of the Review and one copy of all special
publications of the Society.
The Society annually publishes the
Proceedings, featuring a current membership list, an account
of the annual Society meeting, a Treasurers Report and the titles
of the papers given at the annual meeting.
